A very simple starter task that you can have on screen whilst waiting for your class to join your online lesson. We’ve all been there, waiting for students to join in silence, so this is a fun little activity where they can type into the chat box and you can see their answers.
This lesson is suitable for KS3 or level 1 Food Technology.
The lesson focuses on the effects of cooking on vegetables and includes a practical element for the teacher to demonstrate cooking a vegetbale stir fry (students can also cook along if class if told in advance).
Plenty of room for discussion including the Eatwell plate.
I used this lesson for remote learning today and it worked very well, just set your laptop up in your kitchen and get teaching!
